Xorel Applique

2 patterns - 5 colors. Prices range from $120-134 per yard.
Xorel Applique:

Xorel Pixie and Cascade Applique explore the blending of a modern material with a traditional textile craft. Two layers of fabric are sewn together and a pattern is embroidered on the top. Then the top layer of fabric is cut away by hand leaving the stitched down motifs.

View these and all that Carnegie has to offer 'in use' on their website.  Just find the textile that works for your project, click on 'in use' under the image and viola!  Images of the textile used in an interior setting appear.  Great for presentations to get across your design ideas.  http://www.carnegiefabrics.com/

Sina Pearson Textiles - November Brings Warm and Cool Tones

Stay calm, cool and collected with this color story of warm taupe and cool watery aqua tones.  We're mixing mid-scale patterns of Cut Circles, Minnow and Spumoni with our classic solid color Lina, Prairie and Polished Wool weaves.  Luminaire polyurethane and smaller scale Galaxy bring a reflective light to the palette.  These quiet colors offer a soothing antidote to today's fast paced life.

The Global Village Collection - Sina Pearson Textiles

With the Global Village Collection, we simultaneously pay tribute to and update elemental motifs common to many cultures.  The simple stripe, the abstracted floral, the coiled basket belong to a shared visual lanquage and have been found in artisanal textiles for thousands of years.  Yet the patterns' scale, rhythm and graphic color make this group decidedly modern.

Global Village is woven of 100% Bella Dura olefin fibers, providing exceptional fade-weather and mildew resistance outside and rugged durability indoors.  Each pattern exceeds 50,000 double rubs Wyzenbeek, making it especially suitable for high traffic contract and hospitality areas.  And because it's bleach cleanable, the collection is likewise ideal for healthcare, institutional and children's rooms.

Quiet Moments

Sometimes, quiet moments feel right. In this era of fast and loud, we seek relief in peaceful places and time. Patina, woven of worsted wool and shimmery viscose, has a palette of warm and subtle neutrals. Its complement is Radiance a, low luster polyurethane, that brings a sense of luxury and elegance in a washable surface suitable for the most demanding interiors. www.sinapearson.com

Checking out Jetsetter.com....

Are you able to spot the Howard Roark furniture at the Malibu Beach Inn? I spotted it today while dreaming of an escape from the cold on jetsetter.com. For those of you who like to travel it's a great site, and for those of you who just like looking, the hotel images often provide a little design inspiration.

Explore Carnegie's New Website

Carnegie has invested in a new website to make our lives easier. It allows you to quickly search for textiles and wallcoverings based on numerous search criteria, save specification sheets, order samples, create project folders, view project installations, find out about their custom capabilities... the list goes on. Probably the most exciting part of the website from a designer's point of view is the ability to view anything 'in use'. So for that client who has trouble envisioning the way you can, you now have the ability to show them an image. Take a look at some of these images I created today. Pretty cool, right?
